We would like to invite parents to attend our annual Family Appreciation Day tomorrow!
The BBQ will kick off at 12.30pm in the courtyard (weather permitting!!). 1st-6th classes will be brought down with their class teacher to eat some food and have some fun and they will then return to their classes as normal. Junior and Senior Infant classes will be released to their parents at 13.10pm as usual and parents are then asked to bring them along to the BBQ. Everyone will receive a ticket that they can exchange for their BBQ treat! Parents can attend the event from 12.30pm and are invited to bring along any salad accompaniments they would like to share with each other. Please ensure you let your class teacher know (if they don't already) if there are specific foods your child is not permitted to eat during this event. There will be music, dancing and playground games so there will be lots of fun alongside the food so everyone should have a lovely afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate all our fantastic families following another amazing year in P.E.T.N.S.!

The Oak class must really have green fingers, with minimum care our plot in the school Garden has flourished! We plated radishes, spinach, tomatoes and lettuce.
We enjoyed tasting the spinach and radishes. We had to transfer the tomatoes into a bigger container, so watch this space for more progress! We had a super day at Tricky Tricksters Magic Castle, on our school tour!
We were playing, boating, climbing, sliding, jumping, running, chasing, smiling and laughing! We had so much fun that had a good rest on the bus home. Thank you very much to all of the adults who came with us, to help us on our tour! We were learning about Zambia, and we had a great time singing and dancing to the song Bonse Aba, Thanks to Ruth for helping us to learn it!
Thank you to Maria and Chidi's parents who came in and played some games in Polish with us and told us the story of the Mermaid! Well done to all involved in a great Intercultural May!
